Le K\u00e9nyan s\u2019est impos\u00e9 en 1 h 59 min 30 s, am\u00e9liorant de plus d\u2019une minute le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent record du monde \u00e9tabli en 2023, selon World Athletics.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s les premiers kilom\u00e8tres, le rythme impos\u00e9 par le groupe de t\u00eate laissait pr\u00e9sager une course rapide, avec un passage au semi-marathon en 1 h 00 min 29 s. Sawe a fait la diff\u00e9rence dans le dernier tiers de la course, se d\u00e9tachant de l\u2019\u00c9thiopien Yomif Kejelcha, qui termine deuxi\u00e8me en 1 h 59 min 41 s, \u00e9galement sous les deux heures.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Ougandais Jacob Kiplimo compl\u00e8te le podium en 2 h 00 min 28 s, signant lui aussi une performance de haut niveau.<\/p>\n<p>Chez les femmes, l\u2019\u00c9thiopienne Tigst Assefa a confirm\u00e9 sa domination en s\u2019imposant en 2 h 15 min 41 s, am\u00e9liorant son propre record du monde.
